Long overdue post - super busy few years!
I am excited to announce that my visiting status at Providence College has been promoted to a Full-Time, Tenure-Track position. While my primary responsibilities are to direct the new degree program in Music Technology and Production, I will also continue to teach courses in jazz studies, music theory and composition.
We have so many exciting development projects in the works at PC - including the design of a new recording studio, improvements of our production lab, and more! I will be sure to give updates much more frequently as things progress! Stay tuned!
After eight years in Miami, it was finally time to say goodbye - my wife has accepted a new position at St. George’s School in Middletown, RI, and I am excited to join the music faculty at both Providence College and the University of Rhode Island. We are tremendously excited to begin this new chapter of our lives - and to move back home closer to family.
That being said, the decision to move away from South Florida was extremely difficult - over eight years, we received a lifetime’s worth of love and support as we completed degrees, began careers, and became parents. My heart hurts to leave such wonderful friends, colleagues, and students - but I can promise that we will be “taking” everyone with us on our journey. Much love!
